Therapy

Common therapy types include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, and Solution focused on Brief therapy. Effective mental health treatment often combines therapy and medication. Your provider will work with you to find the best approach for your needs. If necessary, collaborations with specialized services like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) or Spravato (esketamine) treatments may be made.

Psychiatry

Your psychiatric treatment starts with a review of your intake form before your first visit. This enables your provider to create a personalized care plan during your appointment. Treatment planning is a collaborative effort between you and your provider. Based on your preferences, traditional therapies, alternative methods, or both may be used. Follow-up visits are recommended to monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed.

Alternative Therapies

Traditional medical and therapeutic methods are effective for mental health but may not fully alleviate symptoms. Consequently, many people explore complementary and alternative treatments. These non-traditional options are not usually FDA-reviewed, yet they can still be effective. Your provider will help identify research-backed alternatives and guide their safe integration into your care plan. For instance, Valerian Root is often recommended for mood and hormonal balance, but liver function should be assessed through baseline labs before use.
